A Cold Embrace is an artistic portrayal of the human experience in extreme cold and the transcendence of a life on the peaks. Featuring never before seen archival footage from Sir Chris Bonington’s own archives, this film gives us a tactile view into what it feels like to experience some of the coldest and most beautiful places in the world most of us only dream of seeing.
